Deedz Dental Clinic (“we”, “us”, “our”) is committed to protecting your privacy and to handling your personal information responsibly and in line with the laws of the United Arab Emirates. This policy explains what we collect, why, how we protect it, and the rights you have.

How we comply

We handle personal information in accordance with UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data and its Executive Regulations. Health and medical information is additionally handled in accordance with UAE Federal Law No. 2 of 2019 on the Use of Information and Communication Technology in the Health Fields, and the regulations of the Dubai Health Authority, under whose licence we operate.

Information we collect

We collect information you provide directly, including when you submit a form on our website, contact us through our social media pages, message us, or respond to one of our advertisements on platforms such as Facebook and Instagram. This may include your name, phone number, email address, and any details you choose to share about the treatment you are interested in. When you become a patient, we also collect the health and treatment information needed to provide your dental care.

Why we use your information and our legal basis

We use your information to respond to your enquiry, book and manage appointments, provide the dental treatment you request, keep accurate medical records as required by law, and follow up about your care. We process your information based on your consent, the need to provide the services you ask for, and our legal and regulatory obligations as a licensed healthcare provider. Where we rely on your consent, you may withdraw it at any time, and this will not affect anything done before you withdrew it.

Marketing

We will only send you marketing messages about our services where you have agreed to receive them. You can opt out at any time and we will stop. We do not use your information for marketing in any way that is not permitted under UAE law.

How we protect, store and share your information

Your information is kept secure and is accessible only to authorised staff who need it to provide your care or to run our clinic. We may share it with trusted service providers who help us operate, such as our scheduling, communication and customer management tools. These providers act on our instructions, are bound to protect your information, and may not use it for their own purposes. We keep your medical records confidential and we do not sell your personal information.

We take steps to store and process your information in line with UAE law. Where any information is processed or stored outside the UAE, we do so only where this is permitted under applicable UAE law and with appropriate safeguards in place to protect it.

Advertising platforms

When you contact us through an advertisement, the advertising platform such as Meta may share limited information with us so that we can respond to you and measure how our campaigns perform. Your use of those platforms is also governed by their own privacy policies.

How long we keep your information

We keep your information only for as long as needed to provide our services and to meet the legal and regulatory record-keeping obligations that apply to healthcare providers in the UAE, after which it is securely deleted or anonymised.

Your rights

Under UAE data protection law you have the right to be informed about how we use your information, to access it, to have it corrected, to ask us to delete it, to restrict or object to certain processing, to receive it in a portable form, and to withdraw your consent. If a breach occurs that may affect your information, we will act to address it and will notify the relevant authorities and affected individuals as required under UAE law.
